Forensic Ballistics
Forensic 3D animations
Example 1: Shows forensic 3D animation of explosion with sounds and noises added. The scene of crime is recorded with laser 3D scanner, point cloud 3D model is converted to a simple solid 3D model, with added materials and textures.

Example 2: Shows forensic 3D animation of firemen movig accross a scene of crime. The terrain itself had been created very precisely with laser 3D scanning of big scale area with dimensions 1000x500 m. Scanning was performed from six different hills. Therefore, six different point clouds were used to create a single point cloud of the area of interest. Later, the point cloud data was transformed to a 3D polymesh, and then was imported into the CAD/CAM software, Maya, for various 3D reconstructions and simulations.
